The STS Group was founded over 30 years ago by Colin Bennett whose original business premise was to provide customers with the highest quality products and services combined with competitive prices to ensure long term customer loyalty. This customer driven theory stands to this day and has allowed STS to become a leading brand in its field.
Many of the management learned their trade whilst working at the global giant, Firestone, a company renowned for its continuous commitment to Motorsport, tyre development and consumer support, beliefs that the management still carry with them today. As a result of this the management team has over 80 years of industry experience between them, giving them an insight into what it takes to be a leading brand in the Alloy wheel and tyre industry.
The STS Group founder, Colin Bennett, first started his career at The Firestone Tyre Company and was instrumental in developing the Firestone Tyre and Auto Racing division, supplying and fitting all types of race and high performance tyres at motor racing circuits around the UK. Colin set standards here that other Firestone Divisions could only try to emulate and which he also applied to the running of the One Stop Auto Centres, another successful arm of the Firestone organisation. Some years before the eventual demise of the Firestone Company, Colin saw that the face of the Tyre and Servicing industry was changing and decided to form Tyre Services Slough. The STS Group first established its reputation as the new force in Commercial Tyre supply and offered a type of service and presentation not previously enjoyed. Since then The STS Group has become synonymous with first class professional workmanship.

The expansion of the company from its original site in Albert Street, Slough, to its current site in Stoke Gardens allowed it to really focus on its creation of the ultimate One Stop Service centre. Stoke Gardens is now well established with the local business community and is authorised by most of the leading car and van leasing companies for the supply of tyres and servicing to their fleets. Stoke Gardens has now become the manifestation of the beliefs of Colin and his fellow directors at The STS Group – a total vehicle servicing superstore with the emphasis on quality products for quality cars. There are state of the art facilities including the latest Bosh diagnostic equipment, a rolling road, a body repair centre, tyre fitting bays, all of this is housed, uniquely, on four floors with a drive in car lift to transfer vehicles between the different sectors of the facility. This has created an unrivalled customer experience, ensuring that from the moment you arrive you receive the best service available as we share our passion for motorsport with you.
